Your property is modelled using the Home Energy Model (HEM), the government's new methodology for assessing the energy performance of homes.

Different combinations of improvements are tested, with each scenario modelled and calculated to assess its impact on the property's energy performance and rating. Potential pathways are then compared based on factors such as energy performance, indicative cost and level of disruption.

The modelling and results are reviewed and approved by an accredited Energy Assessor before your assessment is issued.

This means the final result is a professionally reviewed consultancy assessment supported by energy modelling, rather than a generic or automated recommendation.
