Where we rely on legitimate interests as a legal basis, we have assessed that our interests in maintaining service security and quality are not overridden by your rights and freedoms, taking into account the limited sensitivity of the data processed and the reasonable expectations of users of a planning tool.
4. Data sharing and international transfers
We share data with the following third parties only where necessary:
- Stripe, Inc. (USA): payment processing. Stripe is the data controller for payment card data and is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (recognised by the UK). See stripe.com/privacy.

6. Cookies
This website does not set any application-level cookies. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies of any kind.
Our hosting provider, Netlify, may set technical cookies as part of infrastructure operation (for example, for load balancing or DDoS protection). These are strictly necessary for the delivery of the website and are outside our direct control. They do not identify you personally and are not used for any marketing or analytics purpose.
No cookie consent banner is required under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) because no non-essential cookies are set by this website.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _netlify_* | Netlify (infrastructure) | Load balancing and DDoS protection | Session |
If you notice any other cookies set by this site, please let us know at hello@feasibilitylab.co.uk.
7. Security
The website uses HTTPS encryption in transit. Stripe handles all payment card data and is PCI DSS compliant. In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the ICO within 72 hours and, where required, notify you directly.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be updated to reflect changes. For material changes — such as new data sharing arrangements or new processing purposes — we will also notify you by email if we hold your email address. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
9. Automated decision-making
The planning results generated by the free tool and the guidance documents purchased on this website are produced by automated processing of the Project Information you provide. No human reviews or modifies the output before it is delivered to you.
This automated processing works by applying the rules of the General Permitted Development Order 2015 and current planning policy to the specific parameters you enter (property type, proposed works, dimensions, location, and related factors). The output is a rule-based assessment of whether planning permission is likely to be required and what steps may apply.
We consider this processing necessary for the performance of our contract with you (for purchased documents) and on the basis of our legitimate interests (for free tool results). If you would like a human to review the parameters applied to your result, contact hello@feasibilitylab.co.uk. Please note that human review is limited to verifying that your inputs were correctly processed — it cannot override or replace a formal determination by a local planning authority.
10. Children
This service is not directed at persons under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data through this website, please contact us at hello@feasibilitylab.co.uk and we will delete it promptly.
